2009-111-RES-Nominating a candidate for membership on the board of directors of LCADRESOLUTION NO. 2009-111
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
NOMINATING A CANDIDATE FOR MEMBERSHIP ON THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE LAMAR COUNTY APPRAISAL DISTRICT; MAKING
OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, every two years, the LCAD requests all local taxing entities to submit
nominations for consideration of service on the Lamar County Appraisal Review Board;
and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris has been asked to nominate a
candidate for membership on the Board of Directors of the Lamar County Appraisal
District; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council nominates Jim Noble for consideration;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby
in all things approved.
Section 2. That Jim Noble be, and he is hereby, nominated to serve as a member of
the Board of Directors of the Lamar County Appraisal District for a two (2) year term
beginning January 1, 2010.
Section 3. That the City Clerk, be, and she is hereby, directed to timely deliver a
copy of this Resolution to the Lamar County Appraisal District.
Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
