2010-004 RES APPOINTING MEMBER TO THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARDRESOLUTION NO. 2010-004
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COU11iCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS,
APPOINTING A MEMBER TO THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD TO SERVE
THE UNEXPIRED TERM OF PETE KAMPFER, WHICH EXPIRES APRIL 30,
2011; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, there exists a vacancy on the membership of the Airport Advisory Board
of the City of Paris due to the resignation of Pete Kampfer, and it is necessary to appoint his
successor; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the
appointment of Steve Gilbert to serve the unexpired term of Pete Kampfer, which ends
April 30, 2011;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby
in all things approved.
Section 2. That Steve Gilbert be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve the
unexpired term of Pete Kampfer, which ends April 30, 2011, as a member of the Airport
Advisory Board of the City of Paris.
Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
