BACKGROUND:
These are the preliminary and final plats for Lot l, Block A, Paris DTP II, LLC Addition, located in the
2300 block of N. Main Street. The owner is proposing to build a Dollar General Store. Staff
recommends approval of the preliminary and final plats.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning & Zoning recommended approval of the preliminary and final plats, by a vote of 6-0 on each.

SUBJECT: Paris DTP Il Preliminary Plat
I have reviewed the preliminary plat of the above referenced addition. lt appears that the
preliminary plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following
exceptions.
l. Show the sewer manhole on the north property line and the associated easement with the
volume and page. No structures may be constructed over existing easements and sewer
lines.
2. Label this a Block A, Lot 1 of the Paris DTP II (name changed after plat was submitted).
3. Show current zoning lines.
4. Show the nearest fire hydrant with a dimension to the nearest property corner.
5. Change the plat boundary to match the corrected copy that was submitted.
I recommend approval of the preliminary plat upon completion of the above items.

SUBJECT: Paris DTP II Final Plat
1 have reviewed the Final plat of the above referenced addition. It appears that the Final plat
complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following exceptions.
1. Change name of the plat to Paris DTP II.
2. Add Block A, Lot 1 to the plat.
3. There is a discrepancy between the drawing and the field notes on the distance from the
northwest corner of the plat to the property pin on the northwest corner of the Aqua Clean
property.
4. Provide a minimum finished floor elevation, show the manhole on the north property line
and show the water line ]ocation in N. Main St.
] recommend approval of the final plat upon submission of a corrected mylar copy with
signatures of the surveyor and owners prior to noon on February 5, 2010.
