BACKGROUND:
At the April 12t" City Council meeting Council discussed whether or not appointments to the Boards,
Committees and Commissions should be made prior to or after seating a new Council. The current
policy states that "appointments shall be made at the first regular City Council meeting in April. This
item was requested by Mayor Freelen at the last Council meeting.
