Move to approve final plat of Lot 1, Block A, The Temple of Deliverance Church Addition CB 53,
located in the 500 Block of Graham Street.

BACKGROUND:
This is the final plat for Lot 1, Block A, The Temple of Deliverance Church Addition CB 53, located in
the 500 Block of Graham. The Church would like to build a building on the lot. The only infrastructure
that does not exist is curb and gutter on NW 6th St. and a portion of Graham St. A curb and gutter
variance was granted by City Council on April 13, 2009.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
Planning and Zoning recommended approval of the final plat, subject to City Engineer's
recommendations, by a vote of 4-0 on the plat.

SUBJECT: The Temple of Deliverance Church Addition CB 53
I have reviewed the final plat of the above referenced addition. Staff recommends that the final
plat be denied. The following items are either not included on the final plat or do not comply
with the City of Paris subdivision regulations.
1. Provide a contact person for the church.
2. Remove the old dashed lot lines and all references to former lots.
3. Provide a finished floor elevation
4. Show the setback lines.
5. Provide corner monuments at the NW, SW and SE corners at the new Right-of-Way
(ROW) lines.
6. The exact width of NW 6`h St. ROW has not been determined. Provide survey
documentation to show the actual ROW width.
7. A fire hydrant may be required to be installed, please provided a distance from the
nearest fire hydrant to one of the property corners.
