POLICY ISSUE(S): Plat approval BACKGROUND: Mr. George Fisher is requesting preliminary and final plats for Lot 1, Block A, Paris Doughnuts Addition CB 222-A, located in the2400 Block of Lamar Avenue in order to build a doughnut shop. The property is zoned Commercial. Staff recommends approval of the preliminary and final plats. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: Planning and Zoning recommended approval of the preliminary and final plats, by a vote of 5-0 on each, at its September 7 meeting. It appears that the preliminary plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following exception. 1. Change the zoning in the General Notes from 2-Family to Commercial. It appears that the final plat complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following exceptions. 1. Change the finished floor elevation to a minimum finished floor elevation and make 555.5 the minimum finished floor for all new buildings. 2. Provide five bearing and distance calls to accommodate the five-foot Right-of-Way dedication.
