POLICY ISSUE(S): Fiscal Management This agenda item authorizes the City of Paris to enter into agreements with nine non-profit agencies to perform certain specialized services for the City of Paris and its citizens. The City has funded various non-profit agencies in past years using professional services agreements. This practice benefits the City by avoiding duplication of services, providing services the City cannot, providing services more efficiently than the City can, allowing the City to avoid certain personnel costs associated with providing the services, and allowing the City to focus on its core functions.
