BACKGROUND:
This is the preliminary and final plat for Lot Block A, Kelley Addition, being located in the 600 Block
of North Main Street. The property owner is building a repair shop at this location. The property owner
has submitted a variance for the construction of curb and gutter on NW 1" St. City Council approved a
variance request for Ray's Place in the recent past and it is located just south of this property.
All of the comments on the memos have been addressed and corrected copies have been submitted.
Staff recommends approval of the preliminary plat, final plat and variance reyuest.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
The Commission recommended approval of the preliminary and final plats, subject to the City
Engineer's recommendations by a vote of 4-0 on each

SUBJECT: Kelley Addition CB 78 Final Plat
1 have reviewed the final plat of the above referenced addition. It appears that the final plat
complies with the City of Paris subdivision regulations with the following exception.
1. Please submit a formal variance request for the requirement to install curb and gutter and
remove the request from the General Notes section.
2. Provide information on water meter location and sewer tap location for the lot.
I recommend approval of the final plat upon submission of a corrected mylar copy with
signatures of the surveyor and owner prior to noon on February 11, 2011.
