CITY COUNCIL AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in regular session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, March 14, 2010. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows: Opening Agenda l. Call meeting to order. 2. Invocation. 3. Pledge of Allegiance. 4. Citizens' forum. (Persons desiring to address the Council must limit their presentation to no more than two minutes. The Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Councii from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the City, Council Members, or employees, as well as individual personnel appeals are not appropriate for citizens' forum.) Consent Agenda Items on the Consent Agenda are approved by a single action of the Council, with such approval applicable to all items appearing on the Consent Agenda. A Council Member may request any item to be removed from the Consent Agenda and considered as a separate item. 5. Deliberate and act on the approval of minutes from the meeting on February 28, 2011. 6. Receive and deliberate on reports and/or minutes from the following boards, commissions, and committees: a. Paris Board of Adjustment minutes (11/2/2010; ] 1/9/2010) b. Airport Advisory Board minutes ( l/20/2011) c. Paris Historic Preservation Commission minutes (2/14/2011) 7. Deliberate and act on Resolutions accepting bids and awarding contracts for the purchase of roadway materials required by the Public Works Department of the City of Paris during the twelve month period beginning April l, 2011, and authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute all necessary documents. 8. Deliberate and act on a Resolution accepting the bid and awarding the contract for the curb/gutter, driveway approaches and reinforced concrete to the lowest responsible bidder; and authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute all necessary documents. Regular Agenda 9. Deliberate and act on the Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, C.P.S. 340 Addition, located at 2902 South Church Street. 10. Deliberate and act on the Preliminary Plat and Final Plat of Lot l, Block A, McCoin Addition CB ] 70A, located at 2190 South Church Street.
