Presentation of the Cox Field Airport Master Plan by Coffman and Associates, Inc.
POLICY ISSUE(S):

BACKGROUND:
At the October 13th, 2008 City Council meeting the City of Paris approved resolution 2008-091 which
authorized the City Manger to proceed with a grant application for a Master Plan for Cox Field. The
Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) Aviation Division approved the application. After an
RFP process Coffman & Associates was selected to perform the Master Plan. The City of Paris portion
of the grant was 10% of the negotiated fee. The City's portion was $18,725.00. The kick off meeting
was held December 14, 2009 and the final meeting of the advisory committee was held December 16th,
2010.
The Airport Advisory Board voted unanimously to recommend approval of the Master Plan.

The members of the Airport Advisory Board have been actively involved with
Coffman Associates, Inc. during all three phases in the development of the
Airport Master Plan which is being presented to you.
By unanimous vote, the members of this Board concur with the final
recommendations of Coffman Associates and highly recommend the approval of
this Master Plan.
Your favorable consideration will assure the future development of this most
valuable economic asset of the City of Paris.
