BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That rhe Following described property presently
located within the corporate limits of the City of Par.is, Lamar County,
Texas, which is wliolly uninhabited, owned or being acquired by Paris,
Texas Industrial Foundation, Inc. , be, and the same is hereby
separated, disannexed, removed and excluded from the corporate
area of said C.ity, and the boundary limits oF the City of Paris are
hereby amended, clianged and corrected, so as to exclude said terri-
tory and to conform to the same as herein set ouC in two tracts, to-wit:
TRACT 1: Situated about 2-1/2 miles South
55 Degrees est of the Ciry of Paris, Lamar Countyp-i
Texas, a part of the Lemuel Ewer, Asa Jarman and
Isaac Cruse Surveys, and being a part of 128. 38 acres
of land conveyed Paris, Texas Industr.ial Foundation, Inc.
by Nell Bankhead 0'Neill and husband, 0. R. 0'Neill,
recorded Book 550, Page 886, Deed Records, Lamar
County, Texas.

of the Soutti Boundary Line ot the Texas & Pacific Itailroad R.ight oF Way with the South West Righr of Way Line of
Loop 286 S. W. ;

of the East Boundayy Line of T. M. 137 and the South
Boundary Line of the Texas & Pacific Ra.ilway R.ight of
Way;
THENCE North 77 Degrees East along the South
Boundary Line of said Railroad lZight of Way a distance
of 1645. 7 feeC to a stake for corner;
THENCE South a distance of 761 feet to a stake
for corner;
THENCE South 56 Degrees 51 Minures West,
1449 feet to a point for corner;
THENCE South 76 Degrees West, 1953. 3 feet to

Secrion 2. That the present boundaries of Ward Three of
the City of Paris are hereby correcred and changed, so as to exclude
the sa.id above described property, and the same is hereby removed
and excluded from said Ward Three of the City of Paris, Texas.
, Section 3. The City Engineer is hereby instrucred to make
a complete survey of the above described terr.itory and to mark the
boundaries of the Ciry Lim.it Lines as established by this ordinance
after the removal and exclusion oE the above described tracts from
the existing or present corporate limits of the City of Paris, and
he .is further .instructed to .immediately correct the map of the City
of Paris so as ro remove and exclude therefrom the rerr.irory de- scribed herein, indicating on sucli map the date oF the separarion
and disannexation of said a bove described rracts from the corporate
limits of the City of Paris.
Section 4. T1iis ordinance sha.ll become 6ffective immed.iately
upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the C.ity Council tif tlie City of Paris in
regular session convened on this 13rh day of December, 1976.
