<br />DRAFT <br />F:ALICE\ORDWORK\CURRNET\ Parking & No Parking Areas 12-13-04 <br />December 7, 2004 <br />ORDINANCE NO. __________ <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS BE AMENDED BY <br />REVISING THE NO-PARKING AREA OF THE TRAFFIC <br />CONTROL MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION <br />31-65 OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING A NEW NO PARKING <br />AREA AND A NEW PARKING AREA ON 3 RD STREET N.W.; <br />PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; <br />MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO <br />THE SUBJECT; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS <br />OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br />PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF FEBRUARY 1, <br />2005. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. <br /> That the findings set out in the preamble to this ordinance are hereby <br />in all things approved. <br />Section 2. <br /> That the No Parking area of the Traffic Control Map adopted in <br />Paragraph (b) of Section 31-65 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />No Parking <br />Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended to include the following area: <br />“On the East side of 3 rd Street N.W. from the North curb line of <br />Houston Street going North to the South curb line of Graham Street.” <br />Section 3. <br /> That the Parking area of the Traffic Control Map adopted in <br />Paragraph (b) of Section 31-65 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, <br />Designated <br />Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended to include the following <br />Parking <br /> area: <br />“On the West side of 3 rd Street N.W., from the North curb line of <br />Houston Street to the South curb line of Graham Street and moving <br />dividing center stripe to allow for the parking spaces.” <br /> <br />
