The City Council of the City of Paris met for a special work session at 6:00 P. M.
Monday, August 22, 2005, at the Love Civic Center, 2025 South Collegiate Drive,
Paris, Texas.

W. Schenk, City Attorney; and Janice
Ellis, City Clerk

Budget Workshop - Discuss City Manager's 2005-2006 Budget.
Discussion of the 2005-2006 Budget.

Consideration of and action on proposed amendments to the City Manager's proposed
budget.
Mayor Fendley stated that Council could make amendments as they go or hold them
and make them all at one time. Council Member Manning said he would prefer to do them
all at one time. Council Member Wilson suggested having a budget workshop August 29,
2005, and all council members were in agreement.
4.
Consideration of and action on a resolution setting the time and date for a public
hearing on proposed amendments.
Larry Schenk explained this was a resolution setting the date for a public hearing, if
there were proposed amendments to the budget. Mr. Schenk said the item would be carried
over to the work session on August 29th.

There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
