98-023 ORD REPEAL OF ORDINANCE 98-019 GRANTS FRANCHISE TO PEOPLES COMMUNICATIONORDINANCE NO. 98'023
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR
THE REPEAL OF ORDINANCE 98-019, PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 13TH DAY
OF APRIL, 1998, WHICH GRANTED A FRANCHISE TO PEOPLES COMMUNICATION,
INC., AND DECLARING THE SAME TO BE NULL AND VOID AND OF NO EFFECT;
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MAY 11, 1998.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section L That Ordinance No. 98-019, passed and adopted by the City Council of the City
of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 13th day of April, 1998, which granted a franchise to Peoples
Communication, Inc., be, and the same is hereby, repealed and declared null and void and of no
efifect.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly
repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall be come efifective on May 11, 1998.
