98-034 ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 ON LOT 17-D CITY BLOCK 311 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CURTIS DALE MABERRYORDINANCE NO. 98'034 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) ON LOT 17-D, CITY BLOCK 311, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CURTIS DALE MABERRY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE-r AMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 1, 1998. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 17-D, CITY BLOCK 311, on property belonging to CURTIS DALE MABERRY, so as to include in such TWO FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2 (SF-2), and that the boundaries of said TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), be, and the same are hereby, established as foilows: SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Joseph Leach Survey, being Lot 17-D, City Block 311, also being a part of Lot 17-B of said City Block as shown by Minor Plat recorded in Volume 9, Page 497-498 of the Lamar County Plat Records and being further described as follows: Commencing at the Northwest corner of Lot 17-A, City Block 311, as shown by said replat in the South Boundary Line of U. S. Highway No. 271; THENCE North 57 Degrees, 30 Minutes West with said South Bowndary Line a distance of 42.8 feet to a point in the beginning of a curve to the left having a radius of 1262.53 feet; THENCE Northwesterly with a partion of said curve ro the left having a long chord bearing North 67 Degrees, 48 Minutes, 20 Seconds West 15.15 feet an arc distance of 15.15 feet to the place of BEGINNING for t11is tract; THENCE South 0 Degrees, 15 Minutes East with the West Line of a 50 foot access and utility easement, a distailce of 151.54 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 89 Degrees, 15 Minutes West a distance of 125.00 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 0 Degrees, 15 Minutes West a distance of 192.63 feet to a point for corner in a curve to the right having a radius of 1262.53 feet; THENCE Southeasterly with said curve having a long chord bearing South 71 Degrees, 09 Minutes, 50 Seconds East a distance of 132.32 feet to the place of beginning, contaiiung 0.497 acres of land, being nuinbers 3740 and 3742 Clarksville Street. Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance witll the provisious of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, aiId in accordance with the provisions of this Ordinance. Section 3. Any person violating any of tlle provisions of this Ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemea»or, and, upon conviction, sliall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above euutnerated sections shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This Ordinance sha11 become effective September 1, 1998.
