98-062 ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 ON LOT 17B CITY BLOCK 311 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DALE MABERRYORDINANCE NO. 98-062 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (MF-1) ON LOT 1711, CITY BLOCK 311, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DALE MABERRY, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (NIF-1) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PART5 OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER 1, 1998. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COLINCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (MF-1) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 17B, CITY BLOCK 311, on property belonging to DALE MABERRY, so as to include in such MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (MF-1) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), and that the boundaries of said MULTIPLE-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (MF-1), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, being a part of the Joseph Leach Survey and a part of Lot 17B, City Block 311, as shown by Minor Plat recorded in Volume 9, Pages 496 and 498, of the Lamar County Plat Records, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the Northwest corner of Lot 17A, City Block 311, as shown by said replat in the South Boundary Line of U. S. Highway No. 271; THENCE North 57 Degrees, 30 Minutes West with said South Boundary Line a distance of 42.8 feet to a point in the beginning of a curve to the left having a radius of 1262.53 feet; THENCE Northwesterly with a portion of said curve to the left having a long chord bearing North 67 Degrees, 48 Minutes, 20 Seconds West 15.15 feet an arc distance of 15.15 feet to the place of beginning for this tract; THENCE South 0 Degrees, 15 Minutes East with the West Boundary Line of a 50 foot access and utility easement a distance of 151.54 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 89 Degrees, 15 Minutes West a distance of 125.00 feet to a point for corner; THENCE North 0 Degrees, 15 Minutes West a distance of 192.63 feet to a point for corner in a curve to the right having a radius of 1262.53 feet; THENCE Southeasterly with said curve having a long chord bearing South 71 Degrees, 09 Minutes, 50 Seconds East a distance of 132.32 feet to the place of beginning, containing 0.497 acres of land, and being numbers 3740, 3742, and 3744 Clarksville Street. Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris be, and he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above-enumerated sections shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective December l, 1998.
