98-065 ORD PROVIDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (B) OF SECTION 31-65 OF SAID CODEORDINANCE NO. 98-065
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS BE AMENDED BY REVISING
THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 31-65 OF
SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING
ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF DECEMBER 1, 1998.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the Traffic Control Map adopted in Paragraph (b) of Section 31-65 of the
Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended to
include the following stop signs:
"Stop - Neathery at 17"' Street S.E., stopping east- and west-bound traffic:'
"Stop - Silverleaf at Fair Oaks, stopping south-bound traffic:"
"Stop - Silverleaf at Aspen, stopping north-bound trafric:"
"Stop - 30th Street N.E. at Oak Creek, stopping north-bound traffic:'
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of
a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly
repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on December 1, 1998.
