<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 96-031 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br /> WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) - SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS ON LOT 16-B, CITY <br /> BLOCK 250, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO JOHN CLAY, SO AS TO INCLUDE <br /> THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT <br /> (C); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH <br /> SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) - SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS SO ESTABLISHED; <br /> PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL <br /> ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND <br /> PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 1, 1996. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) - SIGNS AND <br /> BILLBOARDS be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 16-B, CITY BLOCK 250, on <br /> property belonging to JOHN CLAY, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br /> WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (52) - SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS the hereinafter described <br /> property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), <br /> and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) with specific use permit (52) - <br /> signs and billboards, be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a part of the Reddin Russell Survey, <br /> Abstract No. 786 and being a part of a 10.678 acre tract of land conveyed to John <br /> Clay by deed recorded in Volume 535, Page 343, Lamar County Real Property <br /> Records, and being further described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the South Boundary Line of <br /> Loop Highway 286, situated North 48° 04' 40" East, a distauce of 148.68 feet <br /> and North 78° 47' East, a distance of 241.76 feet with said South Boundary Line <br /> from the most westerly corner of said 10.678 acres; <br /> THENCE North 78° 47' East with said South Boundary Line a distance <br /> of 210.0 to an iron pin for corner; <br /> THENCE North 86° 37' East with said South Boundary Line a distance <br /> of 30.0 feet to a point for corner; <br /> THENCE South 6° 09' East, a distance of 200.0 feet to a point for <br /> coriler; <br /> THENCE North 88° 09' West, a distance of 121.29 feet to an iron pin for <br /> corner; <br /> THENCE South 89° 30' West, a distance of 119.62 feet to an iron pin for <br /> corner; <br /> THENCE North 6° 09' West, a distance of 154.24 feet to the place of <br /> beginning and containing 0.975 acres of land located in the 200 block of Loop <br /> 286 N.E. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby, <br /> directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of <br /> Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br /> of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, <br /> and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated ordinance shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br /> Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br /> expressly repealed. <br />
