<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 9 5- 0 0 2 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) <br /> AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) ON LOT 1F-B, CITY BLOCK <br /> 306, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO GLENN BELL, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN <br /> TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C); <br /> DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIE5 OF THE COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND <br /> SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING <br /> FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR <br /> PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN <br /> EFFECTIVE DATE OF FEBRUARY 1, 1995. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a <br /> COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) be, <br /> and the same is hereby, established on LOT 1F-B, CITY BLOCK 306, on property belonging <br /> to GLENN BELL, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC <br /> USE PERMIT - BILLBOARD SIGN (52) the hereinafter described property, which was <br /> formerly and is presently designated as a COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), and that the <br /> boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - <br /> BILLBOARD SIGN (52), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Reddin Russell Survey #786, and being <br /> a part of a tract of land conveyed Morris Kimbell by deed recorded in Volume <br /> 578, page 216, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being Lot 1F-B, City <br /> Block 306, more fully described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at a stake for corner in the East Boundary Line of U. S. <br /> Highway 271 at the southwest corner of said Kimbell tract of land; <br /> THENCE North 89 Deg. 11 Min. East a distance of 149.5 feet to a stake <br /> for corner at the southeast corner of said tract of land; <br /> THENCE North 2 Deg. 13 Min. West a distance of 120 feet to a stake for <br /> corner in the East Boundary Line of said tract of land; <br /> THENCE South 89 Deg. 11 Min. West a distance of 148.5 feet to a stake <br /> for corner; <br /> THENCE Southerly along the East Boundary Line of said U. S. Highway <br /> 271 around a curve to the right a distance of 120 feet to the placing of beginning <br /> and containing 0.41 acres of land, and being number 2870 N. Main Street. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and <br /> he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in <br /> accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty <br /> of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, <br /> and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated ordinance shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br /> Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br /> expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective February 1, 1995. <br />
