<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 9 5- 0 0 3 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY <br /> OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY <br /> THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (O) ON <br /> LOT 8, CITY BLOCK 112, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO SHELLEY FIELD, 50 AS <br /> TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED A5 A TWO <br /> FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIE5 OF THE <br /> OFFICE DISTRICT (O) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO <br /> EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES <br /> IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF <br /> FEBRUARY 1, 1995. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance <br /> No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that an <br /> OFFICE DISTRICT (O) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 8, CITY BLOCK 112, <br /> on property belonging to SHELLEY FIELD, so as to include in such OFFICE DISTRICT (O) <br /> the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a TWO <br /> FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), and that the boundaries of said OFFICE DISTRICT <br /> (O), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: <br /> <br /> SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of <br /> Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Larkin Rattan Survey, and being Lot 8, <br /> City Block 112, more fully described as follows: <br /> BEGINNING at the intersection of the East Boundary Line of 12th Street <br /> S.E. and the North Boundary Line of E. Sherman Street, said point being the <br /> southwest corner of the lot conveyed to S. M. Hearon by W. S. Trigg and wife, <br /> March 22, 1905, recorded in Volume 117, Page 139, Deed Records, Lamar <br /> County, Texas; <br /> THENCE North with the East Boundary Line of 12th Street S.E. a <br /> distance of 108 feet to a stake, said point being the northwest corner of the S. M. <br /> Hearon lot; <br /> THENCE East with the North Boundary Line of said Hearon lot a distance <br /> of 178 feet, more or less, to the northwest corner of a lot conveyed to Howell <br /> Copeland and wife by Sallie Pemmington, et al by deed recorded in Volume 307, <br /> Page 73, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas; <br /> THENCE South with Copeland's West Boundary Line a distance of 108 <br /> feet to a stake, said point being Copeland's southwest corner, and also a point in <br /> the North Boundary Line of East Sherman Street; <br /> THENCE West with the North Boundary Line of said street a distance of <br /> 178 feet to the place of beginning, and being number 441 12th Street S.E. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and <br /> he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the <br /> provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in <br /> accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance sha11 be guilty <br /> of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, <br /> and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated ordinance shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> <br /> Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby <br /> expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective February 1, 1995. <br />
