95-024 ORD AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO 1710 ON LOT 7 CITY BLOCK 62 ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO KAREN PENTECOST ORDINANCE NO. 95-024 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DI5TRICT (2F) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BED AND BREAKFAST (51) ON LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 62, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO KAREN PENTECOST, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A TWO- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BED AND BREAKFAST (51) SO ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST 1, 1995. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BED AND BREAKFAST (51) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 7, CITY BLOCK 62, on property belonging to KAREN PENTECOST, so as to include in such TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BED AND BREAKFAST (51) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a TWO- FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), and that the boundaries of said TWO-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - BED AND BREAKFAST (51), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows: TRACT NO. 1 SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, being part of Lot 7, City Block 62, also being a part of the Isaiah Davis Survey, Abstract No. 253, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pipe set for corner, said point being the point of intersection of the North Boundary Line of Pine Bluff Street and the West Boundary Line of 6th Street N.E.; THENCE West a distance of 97 feet to an iron pipe for a corner; THENCE North a distance of 140 feet to an iron pipe for a corner; THENCE East a distance of 97 feet to an iron pipe for a corner, said point being in the West Boundary Line of 6th Street N.E.; THENCE with the West Boundary Line of 6th Street, South a distance of 140 feet to the place of beginning, containing 13,580 square feet of area. TRACT NO. 2 SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, being part of Lot 7, City Block 62, also being a part of the Isaiah Davis Survey, Abstract No. 253, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pipe set for corner, said point being a distance of 140 feet North of the point of intersection of the North Boundary Line of Pine Bluff Street and the West Boundary Line of 6th Street N.E.; THENCE West a distance of 97 feet to an iron pipe for a corner; THENCE North a distance of 87 feet to an iron pipe for a corner; THENCE East a distance of 97 feet to an iron pipe for a corner, said point being in the West Boundary Line of 6th Street N.E.; THENCE with the West Boundary Line of 6th Street N.E., South a distance of 87 feet to the place of beginning, containing 8,439 square feet of area. Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, sha11 be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated ordinance shall constitute and be deemed a separate offense. Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective August 1, 1995.
