ORDINANCE NO. 95-028 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT CITY (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS (52) ON LOT 6, BLOCK 321, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO DAVID THOMAS, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR); DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - S1GNS AND BILLBOARDS (52) SO • ESTABLISHED; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00, REPEALING ALL ORDINANC~OR AN EFFECTIOVEDATEOF SEPT MBER 1 1995. HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS (52) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 6, CITY BLOCK 321, on property belonging to DAVID THOMAS, so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT - SIGNS AND BILLBOARDS (52) the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR), and th~~thSIGNSAND BILLBOA DSRS RETAIL theI ~e sam are (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERM hereby, established as follows: SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part of the Reddin Russell Survey, a part of City Block 321, being a part of a 19.996 acre tract of land conveyed to Russell Gifford and Herman Hindman by deed recorded in Volume 364, Page 503, Deed Records, Lamar County, Texas, and being more particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner in the South Boundary Line of Spur Highway No. 139, said point being the northwest corner of said tract of land; THENCE North 89° 09' East along the South Boundary Line of said Highway a distance of 250.7 feet to a concrete marker for corner; THENCE South 76° 49' East along said Highway a distance of 103.1 feet to a concrete marker for corner; THENCE North 89 ° 09' East along said Highway a distance of 75 feet to an iron pin for corner in the center of a ditch; THENCE South 5° 24' West a distance of 139 feet to an iron pin for corner in the center of a ditch; THENCE South 30° 20' West a distance of 213 feet to an iron pin for corner in the North Boundary Line of Loop Highway No. 286, said point being in the center of a ditch; THENCE in a Northwesterly direction along the North Boundary Line of said Highway, along a 1° curve to the right a distance of 335.4 feet to a concrete marker for corner; THF.NCE North 57° 09' West along the North Boundary Line of said - -
