<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 95-045 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING A MAXIMUM, REASONABLE AND <br /> PRUDENT RATE OF SPEED ON CERTAIN PORTIONS OF CERTAIN STREETS <br /> AND HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC PLACES IN THE CITY OF PARIS; PROVIDING <br /> FOR A FINE NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR <br /> PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR <br /> AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF NOVEMBER 1, 1995. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the following maximum, reasonable and prudent rates <br /> of speed shall be established on those portions of the street hereinafter described: <br /> <br /> "On East Houston Street from the east curb line of 31st Street N.E.,east to <br /> the west curb line of 32nd Street N.E., a speed limit of twenty (20) miles per hour will <br /> be effective on school days during the following hours: <br /> <br /> 7:15 A.M. until 8:15 A.M. <br /> <br /> 2:00 P.M. until 3:30 P.M." <br /> <br /> Section 2. Any person violating any of the provision of this ordinance <br /> shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to <br /> exceed $200.00. <br /> <br /> Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are <br /> hereby expressly repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on November 1, 1995. <br /> <br /> PASSED AND ADOPTED this 9th day of October, 1995. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Eric .
