BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance
No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that a
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (49) AUTO FUEL
SALES be, and the same is hereby, established on LOTS 4B, 5 AND 6, CITY BLOCK 346,
on property belonging to RAYBURN BELL, so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL
DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (49) AUTO FUEL SALES the hereinafter
described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE-FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said GENERAL RETAIL
DISTRICT (GR) WITH SPECIFIC USE PERMIT (49) AUTO FUEL SALES, be, and the same
are hereby, established as follows:
SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of
Lamar, and State of Texas, and being a piece or parcel of land lying in the D. L.
Myers Survey, Lamar County, Texas, and being about 2 miles South of the city
of Paris, and being more particularly described by metes and bounds as follows,
to-wit:
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of the D. L. Myers Survey, said
point being marked with an iron pipe;
THENCE N 87 ° 10' W a distance of 328 feet to an iron pin in the north
boundary line of FM Highway No. 905;
THENCE S 50° E along said north boundary line of FM 905 a distance
of 428 feet to an iron pin;
THENCE north a distance of 259 feet to the place of BEGINNING,
containing 0.973 acres, more or less, located in the 4100 Block of Jefferson
Road.
Section 2. That the Chief Building Official of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby,
directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions of
Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty
of a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $2,000.00,
and each and every day's continuance of any violation of the above enumerated ordinance shall
constitute and be deemed a separate offense.
Section 4. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
expressly repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shall become effective January 1, 1996.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Paris, in regular session
convened, in the Council Chambers, City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the l lth day of December,
1995.
