in accordance with the Charter of the City of Paris.
4.
Consideration of and action on an ordinance setting the tax rate for the year
2005 for the City of Paris.
A.
Approval of a rate of 0.5665 per $100.00 for maintenance and
operational expenditures.
B.
Approval of a rate of 0.12575 per $100.00 for debt service.
C.
Approval of the ordinance.

Approving and authorizing a Professional Services Agreement
with the Family Haven Crisis Center to perform certain

Approving and authorizing a Professional Services Agreement
with the Northeast Texas Council on Alcohol and Drug Abuse
(NETCADA) to perform certain specialized services on behalf of

Consideration of and action on the following ordinances:
A.
Providing that Ordinance No. 1710, the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Paris, Texas, be amended by revising Section 8-201 (16) of said
Ordinance to amend the definition of "Home Occupation"; adopting a
new Section 8-500 to the Zoning Ordinance establishing permissible
and impermissible Home Occupations and providing for a permit to
operate a Home Occupation.
Consideration of and action on the following resolutions:
A.
Approving and authorizing the execution of an Agreement for the
Temporary Closure of State Right-of-Way with the State of Texas for the
Festival of Pumpkins event.
Possible future agenda items.
Citizens Forum.
(Citizens desiring to appear under this item must limit their presentation to
two (2) minutes in duration. Under the Open Meetings Law, because advance
notice of the subject matter of each presentation was not received in time to
appear on the agenda, City Council is limited in its response to referring the
