AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING AN OFFICE DISTRICT (O) ON
LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 119, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO ROBERT BURNS, SO AS
TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTI-
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1); AND DESIGNATING THE
BOUNDARIES OF THE OFFICE DISTRICT (O) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by the Zoning Map and Ordinance
No. 1710 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby, changed, and that an
OFFICE DISTRICT (O) be, and the same is hereby, established on LOT 5, CITY BLOCK 119,
on property belonging to ROBERT BURNS, so as to include in such OFFICE DISTRICT (O)
the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is presently designated as a MULTI-
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT NO. 1(MF-1), and that the boundaries of said OFFICE
DISTRICT (O), be, and the same are hereby, established as follows:
SITUATED within the corporate limits of the City of Paris, County of
Lamar, and State of Texas, and being Lot 5, City Block 119, and being more
fully described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the West Boundary Line of 4th Street S.W.,
said point being North a distance of 387 feet from the North Boundary Line of
W. Sherman Street and said point being the southeast corner of Lot 5, City Block
119;
THENCE West a distance of' 113 feet to a point, the southwest corner of
said Lot 5 ;
THENCE North a distance of 58 feet to a point, the northwest corner of
said Lot 5;
THENCE East a distance of 113 feet to a point in the West Boundary Line
of 4th Street S.W., the northeast corner of said Lot 5;
THENCE South along the West Boundary Line of 4th Street S.W. a
distance of 58 feet to the place of beginning, and being numbered 328 4th Street
S.W.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of the City of Paris, be, and
he is hereby, directed to change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the
provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same, and in
accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective immediately upon passage.
