93-003 ORD PROVIDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY ADDING SECTION 12-37 TO ARTICLE II OF SAID CODE
ORDINANCE N0. 93-003
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF' PARIS, PROVIDING THAT THE
CODE OF ORDINANCES, BE AMENDED BY ADDING SECTION 12-37 TO
ARTICLE II OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR RESTRICTIONS ON
LOCATION OF LIQUIFIED PETROLEUM GAS; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JANUARY 11, 1993.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Article II of Section 12 of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, T'exas, be amended
by adding Section 12-37, so that such shall read as follows:
"Sec. 12-37. Use near natural gas line prohibited.
No person shall use liquified petroleum gas for
domestic, commercial, or industrial purposes on
premises, any part cf which is within one hundred (100)
feet of a natural gas distributing line."
Sectiori 'l. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
