AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT ORDINANCE N0. 92-054 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE
14th DAY OF DECEMBER, 1992, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 1
OF SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING THAT THE REFERENCE THEREIN TO EE
CHANGED TO REMOVE LOT 8 AND LOT 9, BLOCK 14 T&P ADDITION, AND
TO CORRECT TIME ALLOWANCE ON LOT 5, BLOCK 1, LANE PLACE
ADDITION; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN
CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
JANUARY 11, 1993.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 92-054 of
the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended by changing
therein to read
"Section l. That the structures located at the
following addresses:
1001 6th Street S.E., N. 50' Lots 10,11 & 12,

are a nuisance, and they are hereby declared a nuisance, in
that they are dangerous to life and property, and that the
same constitute a fire hazard to life and property, and that
the respective owners are hereby ordered to abate such
nuisance within thirty (30) days from the date hereof. That
the structure located at the following address:
1565 Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive, Lot 5, Block l,
Lane Place Addition
is a nuisance, and it is hereby declared a nuisance, in that
they it is dangerous to life and property, and that the same
constitutes a fire hazard to life and property, and that the
respective owners are hereby ordered to abate such nuisance
within sixty (60) days from the date hereof. That the
structure located at the following address:
202 3rd Street S.W., Lot 3, City Block 118
is a nuisance, and it is hereby declared a nuisance, in that
it is dangerous to life and property, and that the same
constitutes a fire hazard to life and property, and that the
respective owner is hereby ordered to abate such nuisance
in accordance with the demolition permit obtained by Mike
Upchurch which is for 6 months from September 25, 1992. The
City Clerk is directed to furnish the owners a copy of this
ordinance, in the event the addresses of said owners are
known, and in the event the respective owners refuse to
comply with this ordinance, the City Attorney, T. K. Haynes,
is hereby directed to proceed to enforce this ordinance by
the procedure provided for in Article III of Chapter 7 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
January 11, 1993.
