AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) ON LOT 1, CITY
BLOCK 241-B, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO PARIS INDEPENDENT
SCHOOL DISTRICT, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY
DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(SF-2);
AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE PUBLIC LANDS AND
INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI), be,
and the same is hereby established on LOT l, CITY BLOCK
241-B, on property belonging to PARIS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL
DISTRICT, so as to include in such PUBLIC LANDS AND
INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) the hereinafter describecl
property, which was formerly and is presently designated as
a ONE FANIILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2), and that the
boundaries of said PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT
(PLI), be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lot l, City Block 241-B.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, anci he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hal1, Paris, Texas, on this the 15th day of February,
1993.
