AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY UF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) ON LOTS 12 AND
13, SMITH'S 2ND ADDITIUN AND LUTS 3, 11, 16 and 17, CITY
BLGCK 251-A, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO CITY OF PARIS, SO AS
TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A LIGHT
INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF
THE PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI) SO
ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Nlap and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI), be,
and the same is hereby established on LOTS 12 AND 13,
SMITH'S 2ND ADDITION AND LOTS 3, 11, 16 and 17, CITY BLOCK
251-A, on property belonging to CITY OF PARIS, so as to
include in such PUBLIC LANDS AND INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT (PLI)
the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and
is presently designated as a LIGHT INDUSTRIAL DISTRICT (LI),
and that the boundaries of said PUBLIC LANDS AND
INSTITUTIONS DISTRICT' (PLI), be, and the same are hereby
established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lots 12 and 13, Smith's Second
Addition anci Lots 3, 11, 16 and 17, City Block
251-A situated in the City of Paris, Lamar County,
Texas
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance sha11 become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the 12th day of April,
1993.
