AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
UF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A TWO FAr1ILY DWELLING
DISTRICT (2F) ON THE EAST 100 FEET OF LOT 8, CITY BLOCK 191, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO RAY BUOKER, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORNIERLY DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING llISTRICT
N0. 2(SF-2); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE TWO FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zaning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a TWO
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F), be, and the same is hereby
established on the East 100 feet of LOT 8, CITY BLOCK 191, on
property belonging to RAY BOOKER, so as to include in such TWO
FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT (2F) the hereinafter described property,
which was formerly and is presently designated as a ONE FAMILY
UWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said
TWO FAMILY DWELLING I?ISTRICT (ZF), be, and the same are hereby
established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, Courity of Lamar, and State ot Texas, and
being the East 100 feet of Lot 8, City Block 191 in the
City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the north boundary line of
Glest Houston Street, said point being 508 feet east of
the east boundary line of 17th Street N.W.;
THENCE north, a distance of 170 feet more or less
to the north boundary line of said Lot 8;
THENCE east, a distance of 100 feet to the
northeast corner of said Lot 8;
THENCE south, a distance cf 170 feet more or less
to a point in the north boundary line of West Houston
Street, said point being the southeast corner ot said
Lot 8;
THENCE west along the north boundary line of West
Houston Street, a distance of 100 feet to the place of
beginning.
Section 2. That the D:irector of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Nlap of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use IIiap accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on this the 12th day of July, 1993.
