AN ORDINANCE CLOSING THE ALLEY, BEGINNING IN THE NURTH
BOUNDARY LINE OF' WEST KAUFMAN STREET, RUNNING NORTH TO THE
SOUTH BOUNDARY LINE OF GRAND AVENUE; DECLARING NO NECESSITY
OR NEED OF SAID ALLEY FOR CITY USE OTHER THAN FOR A DRAINAGE
AND UTILITY EASEMENT, WHICH tS EXPRESSLY RETAINED BY THE CITY
OF PARIS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE; DATE OF JULY 12,
1993.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City Council of the City of Paris, that an alley, beginning
in the North Boundary Line of West Kaufman Street, running
North to the South Boundary Line of Grand Avenue is of no use
as an alley or street to the City of Paris or to its
citizens, but is of use and necessary to the City of Paris
and its citizens for drainage and utility easement purposes,
and the City Council so finds; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the alley, beginning in the North
Boundary Line of West Kautman Street, running North to the
South Boundary Line of Grand Avenue, described in Exhibit A
attached hereto, is hereby closed, with the City of Paris
retaining a drainage and utility easement.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
.Iuly 12, 1993.
