ORDINANCE N0. 93-046
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE
AMENDED BY REVISING SUBPARAGRAPH (a) OF SECTION 16-42;
PROVIDING FOR A SPECIAL SOLID WASTE, HEALTH AND SAFETY
SERVICE FEE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR COLLECTION OF SUCH
FEE UN ALL ACCOUNTS BILLED AFTER OCTOBER l, 1993.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE GITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. 1'hat Subparagraph (a) of Section 16-42 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be
amended so as to read as follows:
"ARTICLE III. SOLID WASTE, HEALTH AND SAFETY
SERVICE FEE
Sec. 16-42. Fees Established.
(a) (1). A solid waste health and safety
service fee of four dollars and fifty
cents ($4.50) is established for each
residential unit, each commercial
establishment and each industry.
(2) A special solid waste health and
safety service fee of one dollar ($1.00)
is established for each water meter
account.
. . Section 2. All ordindnces or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective
with such billings after October 1, 1993.
