AN ORUINANCE AIAENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BUUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A MULTI-FAMILY
DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1 (MF-1) AND SPECIFIC USE
PERMITS-INSTITUTIONS OF RELIGIOUS OR PHILANTHROPIC NATURE (24)
AND DAY CAkE CENTER (25) ON LOTS 6, 7 and 8, CITY BLOCK 151, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO CHANCE, INC., SC1 AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN
TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1); AND DESIGNATING T'HE BOUNDARIES OF THE
MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRIGT N0. 1(MF-1) AND SPECIFIC USE
PERMITS-INSTITUTIONS OF RELIGIOUS GR PHILANTHROPIC NATURE (24)
AND DAY CARE CENTER (25) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF YARIS:
Section 1. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1) AND SPECIFIC USE
PERMITS-INSTITUTIONS OF RELI(7IOUS OR PHILANTHROPIC NATURE (24)
AND DAY CARE CENTER (25), be, and the same is hereby established
on LOTS 6, 7 and 8, CITY BLOCK 151, on property belar,ging to
CHANCE, INC., so as to include in such MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1) AND SPECIFIC USE PEKMITS-INSTITUTIONS OF
RELIGIOUS OR PHILANTHROPIC NA.TURE (24) AND DAY CARE CENTER (25)
the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a Mi1LTI-FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 1
(MF-1), and that the boundaries of said MULTI-FAMILY DWELLING
DISTRICT N0. 1(MF-1) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMITS-INSTITUTIONS OF
RELIGIOUS OR PHILANTHROPIC NATURE (24) AND DAY CARE CENTER (25),
be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits ot the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
being Lots 6, 7 and 8, City Block 151 in the City of
Paris, Lamar County, Texas, located at 681 7th Street
S.W., and more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the East Boundary
Line of 7th Street S.W. with the North Boundary Line of
West Washington Street, said point being the Southwest
corner of said Lot 8, City Block 151;
THENCE North with the East Boundary Line of 7th
Street S.W., a distance of 332 feet to a point, the
Northwest corner of said Lot 6, City Block 151;
THENCE East a distance of 303 feet to a point in
the West Boundary Line of 6th Street S.W., said point
being the Northeast corner of said Lot 6, City Block
151;
THENCE West a distance of 133 feet to a point, the
northeast corner of said Lot 7, City Block 151;
THENCE South a distance of 231 feet to a point in
the North Boundary Line of West Washingtori Street, the
Southeast corner of said Lot;
THENCE West with the North Boundary Line of West
Washington Street, 163 feet to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisiors of this ordinance.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinaizce shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day of January, 1992.
