AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT ORDINANCE N0. 90-020 PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE
9th DAY OF JULY, 1990, BE AMENDED BY REVISING THE PREAMBLE,
AND SECTION 1 OF SAID ORDINANCE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR
PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF MARCH y, 1992.
I3E IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the preamble and Section 1 of
Ordinance No. 90-020 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be
amended to read as follows:
"AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZUNING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
ONE FAr1ILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3), SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT-COMMUNITY UNIT DEVELOPMENT (9), AND ESTABLISHING
MINIMUM BUILDING LINES FOR THE MAIN DWELLING AND OPEN CAR
PORTS ON LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 351, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO
HAYDEN SWAIM, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERL,Y
DESIGNATED AS AN AGRICULTUKAL DIST'RICT (A) ; and designating
the boundaries of the one family dwelling district no. 3
(SF-3) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-COMMUNITY UNIT DEVELOPMENT (9)
SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, anci the same are hereby changed, and
that a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3) AND SPECIFIC
USE PERMIT-CONtMUNITY UNIT LIEVELOPMENT (9), be, and the same
is hereby established on LOT 9, CITY BLOCK 351, on property
belonging to HAYDEN SWAIM, so as to include in such ONE
FAMILY DWELLING DiSTRICT N0. 3(SF-3) AND SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT-COMMUNITY UNIT DEVELOPMENT (9) the hereiriafter
described property, which was formerly and is presently
designated as an AGRICULTt1RAL DISTRICT (A), and that the
boundaries of said ONE FAMiLY llWELLING DISTRICT N0. 3(SF-3)
AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-COMMUNITY UNIT DEVELOPr1ENT (9), be,
and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the Corporate Limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, a part
of the Joseph Leach Survey #524, and being a part of
a 152.21 acre tract of land conveyed Leslie Echols by
deed recorded in Volume 309, Page 603, of the Deed
Records of said County and State
Beginning at an iron pin for corner in the North
Boundary Line of Loop Hwy 286, said point being
iVorth 55 Degrees 02 Minutes East a distance of 14.7
teet from the Southeast corner of a 2.054 acre tract
of land conveyed New Hope Baptist Church of Paris by
Deed recorded in Volume! 604, Page 134, of said Deed
Records.
THENCE along the East Boundary Line of a 15 foot
Sewer Easement as follows: North 16 Degrees 49
Minutes West 528 feet to an iron pin; North 17
Begrees 25 Minutes West 502.9 feet to an iron pin for
corner;
THENCE North 73 Degrees 11 Minutes East a
distance of 255.3 teet to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE South 16 Degrees 49 Minutes East a
distance of 926 feet to an iron pin for corner;
THENCE in a Southwesterly direction along the
North Boundary Line of said Loop Hwy 286 around a
curve (R=1772.8593) to the right a distance of 271.4
feet to the place of beginning and containing 5.669
acres of land.
THE ABOVE DESCRIBED PROPERTY IS FURTHER RESTRICTED TO
A BUILDING LINE OF 25 FEET FRUM THE FRONT PROPERTY
LINE FOR THE MAIN DWELLING AND A BUILDING LINE OF 10
FEET FROM THE FRONT PROPERTY LINE FOR OPEN CAR PORTS
WHICH RESTRICTIVE BUILDING LINES MUST BE DEPICTED
UPON AN APPROVED FINAL SUBDIVISION PLAT OF THE ABOVE
DESCRIBED PROPERTY BEFORE BUILDING PERMITS MAY BE
ISSUED."
Section 2. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
March 9, 1992.
