92-012 ORD PROVIDING FOR CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY ADDING SECTION 31-112 OF SAID CODE
ORDINANCE N0. 92-012
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PROVIDING THAT THE
CODE OF ORllINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, BE AMENDED
BY REVISING SECTION 31-112 OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR THE
DELETION OF' THE DIRECTION TU ARREST; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
OR PARTS OF ORDiNANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF APRIL l, 1992.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY CGUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That Section 31-1121 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so
that such section shall read as follows:
"It shall be the duty of the officers ot the police
department to investigate tratfic accidents."
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective on
April 1, 1992.
