AN ORDINANCE CLOSING T'HE ROAD, BEGINNING APPROXIMATELY
AT THE CITY OF PARIS PROPERTY LINE WHERE 19TH STREET N.W.
ENDS, GOING NORTH 1.5 MILES; DECLARING NO NECESSITY OR NEED
OF SAID ROAD FOR CITY USE; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF MAY l, 1992.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the
City Council of the City of Paris, that a road, beginning
approximately at the City of Paris property line where 19th
Street N.W. ends, going North 1.5 miles is of no use to the
City of Paris or to its citizens, and the City Council so
finds; NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section 1. That the road, beginning approximately at
the City of Paris property line where 19th Street N.W. ends,
going North 1.5 miles and is described in Exhibit A attached
hereto, is hereby closed.
Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective on
May 1, 1992.
Passed and adopted this 13th day of April, 1992.
