ORDINANCE N0. 92'022
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING FOR THE DEDICATIGN OF A PUBLIC STREET BEING NAMED
22ND STREET NORTHEAST; AND PROVIDING FOK AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF
MAY 11, 1992.
BE IT ORDAlNED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE C1TY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the public property describeci on
Exhibit A, attached hereto has been used as a street tor over
25 years and it is appropriate that the same be dedicated and
properly named as a street.
Section 2. That the property described on Exhibit A,
attacheci hereto, is dedicated as a public street and shall
bear henceforth the name of 22nd Street N.E.
Section 3. That the City Engineer shall atr,end all
City maps to reflect the property described on Exhibit A as a
public street named as aforesaid.
Section 4. That the Director of Community
Development sha11 give appropriate addresses to the residents
tacing on said street.
Section 5. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 6. This orciinance shall become effective on
May 11, 1992.

EXHIBIT "A"
Being all that certain tract of land situated in the
City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Hiram
Williams Survey, anci being a part of the land conveyed to
Ntrs. J. W. Wade by deed recorcied in Volume 191, Page 316 of
the Lamar County Deed Records and part of the land conveyed
to the City of Paris by John W. Carpenter by deed recorded in
Volume 248, Page 115 of the Lamar County Beed Records and
being further described as follows:
BEGINNING at an iron pin for corner, the South-
east corner of a tract ot land conveyed to W. R.
Thrasher by deed recordecl in Volume 251, Page 532 of
the Lamar County Deed Records and the Southwest
corner of the above mentioned Wacie tract, said point
also being in the North Boundary Line of East Price
Street;
THENCE North with the East Boundary Line of said
Thrasher tract and the West Boundary Line of said
Wade and City of Paris tract a distance of 369 feet
to a point for corner;
THENCE East a distance of 50 feet to a point for
corner;
THENCE South a distance of 369 feet to a point
for corner in the North Boundary Line of East Price
Street;
THENCE West with saici North Boundary Line a
distance of 50 feet to the place of beginning.
