ORDINANCE N0. 92-028
AN ORllINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PROVIDING THAT THE CODE
OF ORDINANCES, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION XVII OF APPENDIX B,
OF SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR INCREASE IN MAXIMUM FINE FOR
ORDINANCES THAT GOVERN FIRE SAFETY, ZUNING, OR PUBLIC HEALTH AND
SANITATION; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TU EXCEED $2,000.00;
REPEALtNG ALL ORDINANCES OR FARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF AUGUST l, 1992.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CI'I'Y COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That Section XVII of Appendix B of the Code
of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so
that such shall read as follows:
"Sec. XVII. Penalty
Any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any
of the provisions of this ordinance or who shall fail
to comply with any provisions hereof shall be guilty of
a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be subject to a
fine not to exceed two thousand dollars ($2,000.00),
and each day that such violation continues shall
constitute a separate offense and shall be punishable
accordingly.

Section Z. Any person violating any of the provisions of
this ordinance shall be guilty of a Misdemeanor not to exceed
$2,000.00, and each and every day's continuance of any violation
of the above enumerated section shall constitute and be deemed a
separate offense.
Section 3. Al1 ordinances or parts of ordinances in
ccnflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on
August 1, 1992.
