AN ORDiNANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE
CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES
ESTABLISHED BY THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) ON LOTS 3 AND 4, CITY BLOCK 249, ON
PROPERTY BELONGING TO JERRY PITCOCK, SO AS TO INCLUDE
THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIN
DISTRICT (GR); AND DESIGNATING THE BOUNDARIES OF THE
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established
by the Zoning Map and Urdinance No. 1710 of the City of
Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed,
and that a CONIMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is
hereby established on LOTS 3 AND 4, CITY BLOCK 249, on
property belonging to JERRY PITCOCK, so as to include in
such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) the hereinafter described
property, which was formerly and is presently designated as
a GENERAL RETAIN DISTRICT (GR), and that the boundaries of
said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same are hereby
established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the
City of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of
Texas, and being Lots 3 and 4, City Block 249, in
the City of Paris, Lamar County, Texas, and more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the South Boundary
"Line of Lamar Avenue, said point being East, 75
feet from the East Bouridary Line of 24th Street
S.E., and said point being the Northwest corner of
Lot 3, City Block 249;
THENCE East with the South Boundary Line of
Lamar Avenue, 110 feet to a point, the Northeast
corner of Lot 4, City Block 249;
THENCE South, 175 feet to a point, the
Southeast corner of said Lot 4;
THENCE West, 110 feet to a point, the
Southwest corner of said Lot 3;
THENCE North, 175 feet to the place of
beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development
of the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to
change the Zoning Map af the City of Paris in accordatlce
with the provisions of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use
map accompanying the same, and in accordance with the
provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts ot ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
Paris, in regular session convened, in the Council Room,
City Hall, Paris, Texas, on this the lOth day of September,
1992.
