<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 92-042 <br /> <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, <br /> PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE <br /> AMENDED BY REVISING CHAPTER 23 OF SAID CODE BY ADDING SECTION <br /> 23-30; PROVIDING THAT IT IS ILLEGAL TO DRIVE ANY MOTOR <br /> VEHICLE ON A PORTION OF LAKE CROOK PROPERTY KNOWN AS AREAS 7 <br /> AND 8; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; <br /> REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br /> HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF OCTOBER 1, <br /> 1992. <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PARIS: <br /> Section l. That Chapter 23 of the Code of Ordinances <br /> of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended to add Section <br /> 23-30 to read as follows: <br /> "Sec. 23-30. Niotorized vehicles prohibited in <br /> certain areas of Lake Crook property. <br /> <br /> No person sha11 operate any motor vehicle on <br /> that portion of the Lake Crook property being a <br /> part of areas 7 and 8 of the Lake Crook Hunting <br /> Map, which area begins at the south boundary line <br /> and an extension ot the same west to its <br /> interception of Lake Crook shore line. Thence in a <br /> northerly direction alang both sides of 19th Street <br /> N.W. to the interceptior,s of an east-west line <br /> tangent to the south boundary line of the boat ramp <br /> parking area which line is extended west to Lake <br /> Crook shore line and east to Lake Crook property <br /> boundary line. A copy of which map is on file with <br /> the City Clerk and is displayed at the Paris Police <br /> Department." <br /> Section 2. Any person violating any of the <br /> provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a Class "C" <br /> Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum <br /> not to exceed $200.00, and each and every day's continuance <br /> of any violation of the above enumerated section shall <br /> constitute and be deemed a separate offense. <br /> 5ection 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in <br /> conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed. <br /> Section 4.
