ORDINANCE, N0. 92-046
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE
AMENDED BY REVISING SUBPARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 16-42;
PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE IN THE RESIDENTIAL SOLID WASTE
SERVICE FEE; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES
IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR COLLECTIUN OF SUCH
FEE ON ALL ACCOUNTS BILLED AFTER OCTOBER 1, 1992.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Subparagraph (b) of Section 16-42 of
the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be
amended so as to read as follows:
"ARTICLE III. SOLID WASTE, HEALTH AND SAFETY
SERVICE FEE
Sec. 16-42. Fees Established.
(a) A solid waste health and safety service
fee of $4.50 is established for each residential
unit, each commercial establishment and each
industry.
Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 3. This ordinance shall become effective
with such billings after October 1, 1992.
