ORDINANCE NO. 97'033 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT THE CHAPTER 23 OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXA5, BE AMENDED BY ADDING AN ARTICLE III THERETO; ESTABLISHING THE HOURS OF OPERATION FOR THE CITY OF PARIS AQUATIC FACILITY; PROVIDING RULES FOR USE OF THE FACILITY; PROVIDING FEES; PROVIDING FOR A PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $2,000.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF JULY 1, 1997. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Chapter 23 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended by adding an Article III thereto to read as follows: "ARTICLE III. CITY OF PARIS AQUATIC FACILITY "Sec. 23-75. Rules for facility use. "The Department of Parks & Recreation shall promulgate any and all necessary rules and regulations for the use by the public of the City of Paris Aquatic Facility. "Sec. 23-76. Hours for facility use. "The City of Paris Aquatic Facility shall be open to the public on the following days and at the following times: Sunday 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Public Swim Monday-Thursday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. Programs 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. Programs Tuesday - Thursday 1:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Public Swim Friday 9:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. Public Swim Saturday 9:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. Public Swim "Sec. 23-77. Fees and requirements for rental. "(a) The Department of Parks & Recreation shall charge the following fees to the public under the following requirements for use of the City of Paris Aquatic Facility: "(1) Daily pass - $1.00 per person; "(2) Daily pass group rate (20 or more people) - SOC per person; "(3) Season pass -$25.00 per person, $1.00 per person for the fifth (Sth) or more immediate family member; "(4) Season pass replacement -$5.00 per person; "(5) Pool rental (2 hours) -$200.00 for up to 75 people and $1.00 per person for each person over the 75th. Pool rentals are subject to the following requirements: "(A) All reservations must be made at least one (1) week in advance of the event by contacting the Department of Parks and Recreation. "(B) The pool is available for reservation between the hours of 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays.
