97-037 ORD PROVIDING CODE OF ORDINANCES BE AMENDED BY REVISING TRAFFIC NO-PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 31-65 OF SAID CODE
ORDINANCE NO. 97-037
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT
THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS BE AMENDED BY REVISING
THE TRAFFIC NO-PARKING MAP ADOPTED IN PARAGRAPH (b) OF SECTION 31-65
OF SAID CODE; ESTABLISHING A NO PARKING AREA: PROVIDING FOR A
PENALTY NOT TO EXCEED $200.00; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE OF SEPTEMBER 1, 1997.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
5ection 1. That the Traffic No Parking Map adopted in Paragraph (b) of Section 31-65
of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended
to include the following No Parking area:
"On the north side of the 3700 block of Carrie Lane from the east curb line of the
southeast exit ramp of Loop 286, east to the west boundary line of the private road
which runs north and south. "
Section 2. Any person violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of
a Misdemeanor, and, upon conviction, shall be fined in any sum not to exceed $200.00.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby expressly
repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective on September 1, 1997.
