AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT
ORDINANCE NO. 97-045, PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 8TH DAY SEPTEMBER,
1997, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 1 OF SAID ORDINANCE; PROVIDING
FOR PUBLIC HEARINGS WITHIN EACH AREA TO BE ANNEXED IN ACCORDANCE
WITH SECTION 43.052(b), LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE; REPEALING ALL
ORDINANCE OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF SEPTEMBER 26, 1997.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 97-045 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be,
and the same is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows:

Commission of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, on the 6th day of October, 1997,
at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, City Hall, 135 lst Street S.E., Paris,

areas to be annexed; and, in order to deal with all annexed areas equally, hearings
