97-053 ORD PROVIDING ORDINANCE NO 97-045 PASSED AND ADOPTEDON THE 8TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1997 AND AMENDED ON THE 26TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER 1997 BY ORDINANCE NO 97-049 BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION OF SAID ORDINANCE ORDINANCE NO. 9 7 - 0 5 3 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARI5, TEXAS, PROVIDING THAT ORDINANCE NO. 97-045, PASSED AND ADOPTED ON THE 8TH DAY SEPTEMBER, 1997, AND AMENDED ON THE 26TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 1997, BY ORDINANCE NO. 97-049, BE AMENDED BY REVISING SECTION 1 OF SAID ORDINANCE; CORRECTING THE LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS FOR TRACTS 5, 7, 8, 9, 10, AND 12; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF NOVEMBER 6, 1997. WHEREAS, the description of the property proposed to be annexed in Ordinance No. 97- 045 had certain inaccuracies, such as distances being incorrect; and, WHEREAS, the land presumed to have been proposed to be annexed is the same land being correctly described in this amendment; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS: Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 97-045 of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that such shall read as follows: "Section 1. "A.
