AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORUINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGINU THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A GENERAL RETAIL
DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-BILLBOARD SIGN (52) ON PART
OF LOT 22, BLOCK A, Jefferson Heights Addition, ON PROPERTY
BELONGING TO JAMES WALLACE, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY
FORMERLY DESIGNATED AS A GENERAL RETAIL UISTRICT (GR); AND
liESIGNATING THE BUUNDARIES OF THE GENEkAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR)
AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-BILLBOARll SIGN (52) SO ESTABLISHED.
BE IT OKDAINED BY IHE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
GENERAL RETAIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE PERMIT-BILLBOARD
SIGN (52), be, and the same is hereby established on PART OF LOT
22, BLOCK A, Jefrerson Heights Addition, on property belonging to
JAMES WALLACE, so as to include in such GENERAL RETAIL DIS'IRICT
(GR) AiVU SPECIFIC USE PERMI'T-BILLBOARD SIGN (52) the hereinafter
described property, which was formerly and is presently
designated as a GENERAL RE'TAIL llISTRICT (GR), and that the
bounciaries of said GENERAL RET'AIL DISTRICT (GR) AND SPECIFIC USE
PERMIT-BILLBOARB SIGN (52), be, and the same are hereby
established as follows:
Situated withiri the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
being part of Lot 22, Block A, Jetferson Heights
Addition to the City of Paris and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 22, Block
A, Jefferson Heights Addition; said point being in the
South boundary Line of Loop 286 S.E.;
Thence S 15° 90' E a distance of 50 teet to a
point;
Thence S 69° 31' W, a distance of 50 feet to a
point;
Thence N 150 OG' W, a distance of 50 feet to a
point in the South Boundary Line of Loop 286 S.E.;
Thence N 69° 31' E, along the South Boundary Line
of Loop 286 S.E., a distance of 50 ieet to the place of
beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the Ci.ty of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Courzcil of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on this the 13th day of May, 1991.
