AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS,
CITY OF PARIS, BE
PROVIDING THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES,
PROVIDING FGR
ANIENDED BY REVISING SECTIUN 14-34 UF SAID CODE;
A FEE SCHEDULE FOR INSPECTION OF FUOL' ESTABLISHNIENTS; AND
THAT THE CODE OF ORDINANCES, CITY OF PARIS, BE AMENDED BY
ADDING SECTION 14-40 TO SAID CODE; PROVIDING FOR AN INCREASE
IN THE MAXIMUM FINE FOR VIULATION OF THE HEALTH AND SAFETY
CODE REGARDING FOUD ESTABLTSHMENT5; PIZOVIDING F'OR A PENALTY

EFFECTIVE DATE UF JUNE 1, 1991.
BE IT OKDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That Section 14-34 of the Code of
Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, be amended so
that such shall read as follows:
"Sec. 14-34. Fee.
(a) The annual permit tee for each food
establishment, other than dairies, creameries and
milk plants, shall be as follows:
1-5 Employees - 425.00 per year
6-9 Employees - $75.00 per year
Over 9 Employees -$125.G0 per year
Section 2. That Section 14-40 be added to the Code

of Ordinances of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, to read as
follows:
"Sec. 14-40. Penalty.
"Any person violating any of the provisions of
this article shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and
upon conviction shall be fined in any sum not to
exceed two thousand dollars ($2,000.00), and each
day's continuance of any violation described in
this article shall constitute and be deemed a
separate offense."
Section 3. Any person violating any of the
provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a
Misdemeanor, and upon conviction shall be fined in any sum

Section 4. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 5. This ordinance shail become effective on
June 1, 1991.
