ORDINANCE N0. 91-043 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN BOUNDARY L IMI TS OF THE C ITY OF PARI S, PARI S, TEXAS, AND THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF 97.6 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, WHICH TS LESS THAN TEN PERCENT (10%) OF THE TERRITORY INCLUDED WITHIN ITS PRESENT CITY LIMITS, WHICH SAID TERRITORY LIES ADJACENT TO AND ADJOINS THE PRESENT BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS; APPROVING SERVICE PLAN AND PROVIDING ZONING FOR SAID TERRITORY. WHEREAS, public hearings before the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, where all interested persons were provided with an opportunity to be heard on the proposed annexation of the following described property: TRACT ONE: SITUATEU about 12 miles Southwest of the Court House, Paris, Lamar County, Texas, a part of the Asa Jarman Survey, and being the same land conveyed Texas Pacific Railway Company of record in Vol. 388, Page 453, of the Deed Records of said County and State and a part of the same 10 acres more or less as described in a deed from Harrison to Bankhead of record in Vol. 130, Page 527, of said Deed Records, and being described as follows: BEGINNING at a stake for corner at the intersection of the present East Boundary Line of Farm Road No. 137 and the South Boundary Line of the Texas and Pacific Railway Company; THENCE North 77 degrees 00 minutes East along the South Boundary Line of said Railway Company a distance of 1645.7 feet to a stake for corner; THENCE South a distance of 761 feet to a stake for corner; THENCE North 89 degrees 24 minutes West a distance of 684 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE South 1 degree 05 minutes West a distance of 820 feet to an iron pin for corner; THENCE North 89 degrees 15 minutes West a distance of 1962 feet to a stake for corner in the East Boundary Line of Farm Road No. 137; THENCE along the East Boundary Line of said Farm Koad with the fcllowing calls: North 50 degrees 17 minutes East a distance of 361.8 feet to the beginning of a curve to the left having a radius of 2924.79 feet, around said curve to the left a distance of 840.6 feet to the end of said curve, North 33 degrees 49 minutes East a distance of 392 feet to the place c,t beginning and containirig 50.601 acres of land, more or less. TRACT TWO: SITUATED about 2 miles South 45 degrees West of the Court House, a part of the Lewuel Ewer Survey and being a part of the same land conveyed to H. S. Reeder, J. A. Scarborough, Sr., and R. Leon Hodges from Herbert C. Hoover and wife Daurene A. Hoover by deed dated February 26, 1962, of record in Volume 385, Page 244, of the Deed Records of said County and State; BEGINNING at the Northeast ccrner of the above mentioned 115.55 acre tract an iron pin for corner in the North Boundary Line of the Ewer Survey; THENCE South 0 degrees 24 minutes West a distance of 401.6 feet to an iron post for corner, the northwest corner of Texas Power and Light Company tract; THENCE South 76 degrees 00 minutes West a distance of 1953.3 feet to a stake; THENCE South 66 degrees 17 minutes West a distance of 390.2 feet a stake in the North Boundary Line of Loop Highway 286;
