AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ZONING ORDINANCE N0. 1710 OF THE CITY
OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS AND CHANGING THE BOUNDARIES ESTABLISHED BY
THE ZONING MAP OF SAID CITY; ESTABLISHING A COMMERCIAL DISTRICT
(C) ON LOTS 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33 and 34,
City Block 250, ON PROPERTY BELONGING TO WALTER AND BOON GROSS,
PEDRO FIGUEROA, ROLAND FAGAN, MRS. RICHARD P. WRIGHT, CLARENCE
PARKS, RALPH BLOW, JOHN C. KELLEY, SHELTON WARD, MRS. E. NICHOLS
AND JULIE BELTRAN, SO AS TO INCLUDE THEREIN TERRITORY FORMERLY
DESIGNATED AS A ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2(SF-2); AND
DESIGNATING THE BOUNBARIES OF THE CONIMERCIAL DISTRICT (C) SO
ESTABLISHED.
BE IT ORllAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS:
Section l. That the boundaries heretofore established by
the Zoning Map and Ordinance No. 1710 of the City of Paris,
Paris, Texas, be, and the same are hereby changed, and that a
COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C), be, and the same is hereby established
on LOTS 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33 and 34, City
Block 250, on property belonging to WALTER AND BOON GROSS, PEDRO
FIGUEROA, ROLAND FAGAN, MRS. RICHARD P. WRIGHT, CLARENCE PARKS,
RALPH BLOW, JOHN C. KELLEY, SHELTON WARD, MRS. E. NICHOLS AND
JULIE BELTRAN, so as to include in such COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C)
the hereinafter described property, which was formerly and is
presently designated as a ONE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT N0. 2
(SF-2), and that the boundaries of said COMMERCIAL DISTRICT (C),
be, and the same are hereby established as follows:
Situated within the corporate limits of the City
of Paris, County of Lamar, and State of Texas, and
being Lots 21, 22, 23, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 32, 33
and 34, City Block 250 in the City of Paris, Lamar
County, Texas and more particularly described as
follows:
TRACT 1:
BEGINNING at a point in the North Boundary Line of
Clement Road, said point being the Southwest corner of
Lot 21, City Block 250;
THENCE North with the West Boundary Line of said
Lot 21, 811 feet to its Northwest corner;
THENCE Southeasterly a distance of 1,016 feet to a
point, the Northeast corner of Lot 29, City Block 250;
THENCE Southeasterly 12 feet more or less to the
Northwest corner of Lot 30, City Block 250;
THENCE East, 170 feet more or less to the
Northeast corner of said Lot 30, City Block 250;
THENCE South, 307 feet to a point in the North
Boundary Line of Clement Road, same being the Southeast
corner of said Lot 30, City B1ock 250;
THENCE West with the North Boundary Line of
Clement Road, 1,055 feet to the place of beginning.
TRACT 2:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the West Boundary
Line of Fitzhugh Avenue with the North Boundary Line of
Clement Road;
THENCE West with the North Boundary Line of
Clement Road 104.5 feet to a point, the Southwest
corner of Lat 32, City Block 250;
THENCE North, 418 feet to the Northwest corner of
Lot 34, City Block 250;
THENCE East, 104.5 feet to a point in the West
Boundary Line of Fitzhugh Avenue, same being the
Northeast corner of Iot, said Lot 34, City Block 250;
THENCE South with the West Boundary Line of
Fitzhugh Avenue, 418 feet to the place of beginning.
Section 2. That the Director of Community Development of
the City of Paris, be, and he is hereby directed to change the
Zoning Map of the City of Paris in accordance with the provisions
of Ordinance No. 1710 and the land use map accompanying the same,
and in accordance with the provisions of this ordinance.
Section 3. All ordinances and parts of ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby expressly repealed.
Section 4. This ordinance shall become effective
immediately upon passage.
Passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Paris,
in regular session convened, in the Council Room, City Hall,
Paris, Texas, on this the 9th day ot A 1990.
